The Christmas Cheer Board acknowledges that we are gathered on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional gathering place of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. We respect the Treaties made in this territory. We dedicate ourselves to move forward with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration to make Winnipeg a better place for everyone.
