Volunteering Opportunities
The Christmas Cheer Board will open for volunteer registration in early October. Thank you for your interest!
Volunteers at the warehouse must commit to a minimum four (4 hour) shifts during the season.
As this is a working warehouse environment the minimum age is 14 accompanied by a parent or guardian. Volunteers 16 years old and over may volunteer independently.

Sponsor a Christmas Hamper - become a part of our Feed-a-Family program. What a great way to celebrate the holiday season with your group. Contact us at (204) 989-5680. We'll assign you a hamper family and provide you with a list of hamper contents, contact the family, build your hamper, and make arrangements to deliver your hamper.
Group Volunteer Opportunities
Fundraise - Organize your own special event (for example - birthday/dinner parties, concerts, bake sales, auctions, pancake breakfast, casual days). Encourage friends, relatives or colleagues to donate to the Christmas Cheer Board. Approximately half of hamper contents are purchased and paid for through the generosity of Winnipeggers. Please register your event with us. A Christmas Cheer Board administrator will send you our logo for advertising your event. Contact (204) 989-5692 to learn more.
Deliver Christmas hampers - No need to register as a volunteer, drop by 895 Century St. between December 8-23. Warehouse hours are 9am-8pm weekdays and 9am-5pm weekends.
Organize a toy drive - Organize donation drop-off locations at your workplace, school, or club.
Family volunteering - Families may wish to make a financial donation, deliver hampers or put together a hamper for a family under the Feed-a-Family program.
